OSIL (Ocean Scientific International Limited), a Havant based oceanographic marine instrument and systems provider, are pleased to report that salinometer sales are going from strength to strength, with leading organisations within the marine and environmental industries making purchases.
Guildline's salinometers are the recognised industry standard instrument for measuring salinity in the laboratory, and as such the Autosal and Portasal salinometers are proving increasingly popular both in the UK and abroad. As a result, world wide sales have steadily increased, and OSIL have been pleased to supply the instruments to organisations in Russia, Peru, Brazil, and the USA.
OSIL's Seawater Chemist, Nigel Higgs, explains, "Guildline have set the standard precision salinity measurement for many years, and their latest products, the 8400B Auto Lab Salinometer and the portable 8410A Portasal Salinometer, continue the trend."
Guildline manufactures and markets precision instruments for the oceanography industry, and some of its instruments are unique and represent the only commercially available instrument of its type. The increased, and wide spread use of the Autosal and Portasal Salinometers only serves to prove their renowned ability to provide accurate and reliable data, while remaining robust and durable.
