What combines a precision single beam echosounder, DVL, HYPACK, water speed and positioning system all into one compact and easy to use package? The answer is the all new HydroSurveryor, and members of the oceanographic community will have the opportunity to see if for the first time at Ocean Business 2009, Southampton, UK.

The HydroSurveyor represents the ultimate solution to field Hydrographics. Utilizing state of the art electroacoustics, measuring depth and SOG (speed-over-ground) has never been so complete. Designed from the ground up for today's hydrographers, the HydroSurveyor integrated two frequencies into a single five-beam instrument, streamlining the hydrographic surveying process, and providing the tools needed to quickly and accurately provide position and depth with confidence. With design features such as multiple beams, vertical echo sounding and improved GPS positioning, the HydroSurveyor is like having multiple instruments in one!

The Ocean Business event takes place at the National Oceanography Center, 31 March - 2 April, 2009. Stop by the SonTek/YSI stand (T2) to see the HydroSurveyor first hand, or sign up for a free on-vessel demonstration.
