International oceanographic marine instrument and systems provider, OSIL (Ocean Scientific International Limited), have reported a significant increase of their range of data buoys on the back of some recent contracts.
OSIL's buoys provide the ideal monitoring platform for a wide assortment of instrumentation and their highly stable design makes them suitable for a variety of short and long term applications including ocean, river, coastal and dredge monitoring. They are designed to be completely adaptable to any applications' needs, and can withstand the harshest of conditions thanks to their robust construction.
The buoys are available in four different sizes ranging from a diameter of 1.2 m with a buoyancy of 400 kg up to 3 m in diameter with a buoyancy of 9000kg. The size of the buoys coupled with the high buoyancy allows for a full range of supporting equipment such as solar panels and battery packs as well as monitoring instrumentation, proving how adaptable they are for any application.
