Nortek Uk Student Equipment Grant - 2009

Nortek UK has pleasure in announcing the start of this year's student equipment grant competition. We are inviting postgraduate students to submit research proposals, involving Nortek equipment. The two winning students will be loaned their choice of a Nortek Aquadopp, Aquadopp Profiler, AWAC, Vector or Vectrino Velocimeters for a free 3-month deployment period. In addition, the best proposal will also secure an extra £500 in travel expenses, to allow him/her to attend a national or international conference, in order present their scientific results.

The competition is open to student's studying in the UK and the Republic of Ireland
Proposals will be judged on :
- Scientific Merit
- Innovative Spirit
- Demonstrated need for equipment
- Ability to obtain quantifiable results in a 3 month deployment period.
Entries should be submitted by the 16th January 2009 and the winning award, will be issued on the 30th January 2009. The organiser's decision will be final.
