Trainee Oceanographic/ Calibration Engineer for an Oceanographic company based in Havant
OSIL operate a specialised calibration lab for marine scientific instruments.
We are seeking a trainee calibration engineer with some engineering or calibration knowledge.
Training will be provided in all of the following areas Pressure, Temperature, Conductivity, Sound Velocity.
Electronic diagnostic experience/ ONC Electronic Engineering a definite advantage.
Must have good attention to detail & IT/ computer skills, and following training, will be required to work with the minimum of supervision.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for team interaction and liaising with customers.
Salary
Dependant on experience.

Assistant to the Managing Director - marine scientific company, Hampshire, UK
As the assistant to the MD you will be asked to perform many duties:
PR and marketing support
Arranging meetings, creating agendas and production of minutes
Travel arrangements for MD and staff
Upkeep of OSIL websites and email newsletter
Suport at OSIL events, trade show and external meetings
Maintain 'Goldmine' database records
Liasing with customers and staff
Maintain office facilities
The successful applicant should have a degree, be highly organised and computer literate with strong interpersonal skills, pleasant telephone manner, a good eye for detail and hold a full driving licence.
Salary
