B&D Extends Family with Dedicated Foam Facility

B&D is now able to offer greater levels of foam capability following the creation of B&D Foams Ltd a sister business to B&D. Increasing demand for custom foam cushioning and the desire to further improve speed of response has lead B&D to consolidate its foam conversion in a new dedicated facility in Southampton.

UK based OSIL (Ocean Scientific International Ltd) has placed an order for three Sea-Bird SBE 911 CTD instruments and associated equipment for its client, the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD).  The instruments replace the existing CTD suite on UK ships in order to maintain the MoD's capability in high-quality oceanographic data collection.
